QRI is an independent business unit within Qarshi Organization providing Quality Testing, Calibration, and Proficiency Services through its internationally recognized accredited laboratory facilities located at Hattar Industrial Estate, Haripur, KPK, Pakistan. Established as an independent company in March 2003, QRI is the first internationally accredited lab in Pakistan.
QRI offers a large variety of accredited and non-accredited physical, chemical, microbiological, and environmental testing to food, food products, and pharmaceutical industries. In addition, QRI also offers accredited calibration within mass, volume, temperature, and pressure.
QRI was founded in 2003 by Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Qarshi (Chairman, Qarshi Organization) due to a lack of in-house testing laboratories and the unavailability of nationally Accredited 3rd Party Testing Labs in Pakistan. Furthermore, there was a lack of awareness of Quality Assurance, and demands from global buyers were increasing, as were the technical trade barriers. The costs of foreign testing were too high, and the turnaround for test reports was slow, leading to the formation of QRI.
QRI has now introduced its web application, offering ease in monitoring operations from any corner of the world. Clients can obtain their results, keep track of their testing summary, check their reports, and can download them virtually without in-person assistance. The app provides customer-status updates regularly, thereby limiting additional communication barriers.
